Join us at Lazy Film Lab for a hands-on introduction to the beautiful process of black & white film development and darkroom printing.

How it works

Once you sign up, we’ll send you a black & white roll of film to shoot during the week. The earlier you sign up, the more time you’ll have to go out and make your photographs.

Don’t have a film camera? We’ve got you covered. You can borrow one from us. <3

Then, go out and shoot.

Take your time. Walk around, find things worth photographing, and make the most of your roll — because these photographs won’t just live on a screen. You’ll be printing them by hand.

Sunday at the Lab

We meet at 10:30 AM on Sunday at Lazy Film Lab.

You’ll learn to hand-develop your own film, turning your exposed roll into negatives right before your eyes.

Then we head into the darkroom.

Under the red light, you’ll make your own hand prints from your negatives — exposing photographic paper, watching the image slowly appear, and taking home photographs that you made from start to finish.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing your photograph come to life in the darkroom. No screens. No presets. Just light, chemistry, paper, and your photograph.

Spots are extremely limited because our darkroom has limited space.
